Salam 3alaikum all!

I hope you are all having a *wonderful*, *wonderful* holiday…

Just wanted to share with you all my FIRST you-tube video,
made in five min maximum so it's not fantastic but i'd love
to hear your views and opinions.

Hi guys ! after i posted my pic i sat a fiddled with photoshop for a bit .. and i felt i matches so i decided to upload it to share it with u ...chee it matches my childhood dreams ! a child with a wing.. u know wat i mean


I know its not perfect... but its the start ! awaneh ..

Childhood

We plan our lives according to a dream that came to us in our childhood, and we find that life alters our plans. And yet, at the end, from a rare height, we also see that our dream was our fate. It’s just that providence had other ideas as to how we would get there. Destiny plans a different route, or turns the dream around, as if it were a riddle, and fulfills the dream in ways we couldn’t have expected…

I have once attacked this theme back in GCSE. Seeing it once more appear makes me smile.

I adore bubbles. They just really fascinate me!! I love them I love them sooo much. Until this very day...this dream lives on..

I imagine if it would be possible to step into a bubble and let it carry me up in open air…rises up and further up until there is no sight of earth.

As a kid, i remember so clearly how I imagined if I could catch one in my hand without it bursting. Thinking if it would be possible if I can step inside one and for it to lift me high into the sky. I used to follow the bubble with my eyes and get distracted when it 'pops'. At other times I lost track and trusted it would've reached a star. . . .

I want to appologise to boos – and to everyone else for not uploading yesterday. I had no technical difficulties, I was just a bit lazy. I'm so sorry... :(

The essence of childhood is beautiful.. my painting I think was not very successful, but at least it was something! Will do better next time.

My DreaM "i want to fly..."

As a kid i have always dreamt to be an angel and flutter my wings and flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

umm dunno wat to say more.. most of u have seen this pic before.. i also chose the pic coz the colours r kinda kidie =P.. the wings are gold to represent dreams..

I will stop falsafing (blabbering) and let the arty ppl continue ! =P

since i am the new acclaimed person 2 hold the spark i wanted a theme that has no sadness, depression or tears but JOY!..coz i believe in sharing an emotion that will make ppl smile 2 share an emotion that makes U feel good i dont believe in sharing ur pain with the world thats between u and God so share the joy.. the theme is HAPPINESS!!!

As children, we are able to dream, to imagine, to wonder… Through those innocent eyes, we saw a world better than the real one. Everything seemed more colourful, more joyful.. and sometimes.. they seemed bigger than they are now..

Use your creativity to portray a dream you had, once as a child…

A lot of people tend to pretend that everything is ok.. that they are ok .. even if something happens to them which changes their lives forever.. they just keep smiling, hiding the pain they under-go .. pretending that nothing is wrong, it's all just perfect .. they may be bleeding on the inside, but their exterior reflects nothing but joy .. as they hope for the best, repeating to themselves, as if trying to stay in tact with sanity: this too shall pass.. this too shall pass.. this too shall pass..

Mannequin

We at times can be emotionally manipulated...either by a person, in a theatre, while watching a movie, a film, or even while listening to something 'moving', a piece of music or a painting.

The background is a painted canvas, while i have adjusted colours by Adobe Photoshop...just a bit. hehe, i don't like to over do it using AP, it becomes fake - or let's be honest i'm not good at it!!

I hope you guys like what i have quickly come up with - eager to see more work. :)

Subconscious Release

Why is sleep so important to us? Dreams allow us to see what's on our subconscious. It is a purging of the day's activities, a spiritual release. By learning to release your mental attachment to people and situations, you ease your mind, promoting restful periods of sleep.

Releasing the stress of imagination..

my version of release

since the theme is release is decided that i will put this image which i took by myself from a mirror..i will explain my reason of choice..its coz when u meet sumone new u usually behave in a sensible manner and smile gently with respect but when ur with urself or with ppl that close 2 ur heart u burst out laughing without thinking twice and relase ur inner joy..plus personally i dont open my hair in front of anyone i let down my hair and release the tension of my hair tie if i am comfortable with ur presence in the room..

Week 1

Theme; ..Release..

It's hard, sometimes, to tell people how you are feeling. It's difficult, sometimes, to let people know about something you are going through that is private, personal, and even heart-breaking. Sometimes words just aren't enough.

The object of this theme is to create a piece of artwork that shows some portrayal of a highly personal experience you’ve had to go through. It is true, that life isn’t always the easiest, and we often make it through the rough spots and keep going, but what happens to all of that baggage? It gets locked away. Especially, if it is a truly painful experience.

Aim: Post something moving yet stunning that holds deep messages and stories that are emotional, powerful and personal.

Media: Paintings, drawings, photo manipulation, photography…pretty much anything. Works should be visual.

(Maximum three art pieces)

Deadline: Sunday 8th 2007 - post on deadline day please.

Have fun and hope that you gain the ability to express yourself wholly, fully, deeply, and honestly through your work.

THE SPARK is the first drop of light, the birth of aspirations and the basis of our sensations.
THE SPARK will reveal the course in which we will be sailing with imagination, and art will take us through this voyage to places.
THE SPARK will allow us to embrace our talents and help it to flourish and grow.

THE SPARK will be passed on from one artist to another.
Each and every one of us is more than able to take the lead and maintain the spark.
In 7 days, we will all get a chance to shine and glow with inspiration, and creatively create an art piece, of any media, based on the theme set by artist that holds THE SPARK. The name of the artist who will be given THE SPARK, will be posted with the theme.
